Zarathustra2
I'm over at braker and lamar. Chaeto is a great starter macro algae. Easy to take care of and really no chance of going sexual like caleurpa. Also doesn't require quite as much flow as gracilera does (though I think most people who have problems with chaeto have them due to not enough flow.) Let me know who wants it. I'm getting rid of it tomorrow one way or another.
Cool Breeze
I'm about to harvest some this weekend. If anybody wants some they can have it, if not it's hitting the trash.

You may ask any Veegan's out there if they want some living seaweed. Just make sure there is no meaty pods in the matrix of the seaweed. Zarathustra2
Hehe. For some reason i just don't imagine a calcerous algae like chaeto to be good eats.
subsea
Hehe. For some reason i just don't imagine a calcerous algae like chaeto to be good eats. I had a friend that eat it all. His handle is Aquascaper at La Reef Club. I tasted Chaeto and several different Caulerpa. It is like salty cabbage. Consider the high protein content and micro-nutriant, I think it is all good. However, my favorite is Red Ogo. Pat
Viet-tin
Ogo is good served with poke or tako I'll have to try chaeto any good recipes?
Zarathustra2
So regardless of your use, if you want some PM me in the next hour or so or its goin in the trash. And for me I like the ogo and eat enough nori through sushi to add my share to the import quota for the year. I tried some of my ulva and it was decent. I just feel that I'm not going to eat anything that my ceriths aren't interested in.
