Kessils, from what I've seen the last few years, have roughly a 10% failure rate at the 3 year mark but they use glass lenses which won't discolor over time like polycarbonate lenses will. stoneroller Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 I've been surprisingly pleased with black box LEDs (3x for a 60" SPS tank) -- four years and counting. If I had money to burn, I'd get two of the latest ecotech radions for a 36 inch tank, just based on seeing them on other's SPS tanks.
