I bought the T-5's to supplement my black box LED's and I saw improved coloration after the first week. I'm not sure if it was due to the increased PAR or something different offered through T-5 lighting. It seems like a lot of people have been supplementing with T-5 or going back to MH/T-5 entirely. Anyway, my canopy is too small for six fixtures and I didn't have enough space to do routine maintenance. Since I'm limited by the canopy, I decided to upgrade into some more powerful fixtures that take up less space.
