Thanks how do you keep the pods alive? What all do you do to keep them populating to feed in my case a mandarin ( which I don’t actually have yet ) I have a bio cube not too sure about place to grow cheato for them like many people mention keeping in a sump
+Dogfish
If you have an Oceanic Biocube they have a built-In refugium chamber. You can place them in that with some micro algae.(chaeto)
12_egg_omelette
Honestly in a small all in one if you want a mandarin id add pods on a very regular basis. I've kept mandarins in a 12 gallon AIO, I'm not just trying to sell you lots of pods. You need to have pods reproduce faster than they fall to predation
+Dogfish
I agree. Its going to be hard to raise them fast enough to keep up with demand. Here is good info from another forum. Post #7 and #9 will help you. http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/f6/how-to-tell-if-you-have-enough-copepods-182906.html https://www.nano-reef.com/forums/topic/379686-how-many-pod-cultures-for-mandarin/
