mdavis735 Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 I didn’t ever do a build thread and this isn’t much of one. I figured I’d at least post some pics. Now that it looks somewhat presentable. It’s a 90 gallon reef ready tank. It has been running since October of 2016. I had a huge issue with dinoflagellates that I am scared to say, but I feel I have finally gotten rid of. I added a uv sterilizer in December of 2017. The Dino’s started disappearing pretty much immediately and I haven’t seen a sign of them since. The tank is lit by 2- 16 inch sb reeflight basics and 2-48” t5’s. One ati blue plus and one ati coral plus. I have a jebao pp-8 on one end and a pp-4 on the other. I will eventually put 2-pp15’s I think. The return pump is an eheim 1262. It’s also feeding a brs dual reactor. I run carbon and sometimes gfo. The skimmer is an swc 160 cone. That’s pretty much it for equipment. It is pretty sps domonated. Mostly Frags with a few smaller colonies. Everything is colored nicely and growing. I had to cut up my pretty decent sized green slimer due to some sort of damage that I feel was caused by Dino’s.
