They are very hardy fish and easy to take care of. They eat regular, small pellets with no issues. These fish are currently in a planted 29-gallon BioCube. At one time, I had more than 10 and they all got along extremely well. They are very fun fish, full of personality. This is a pretty breed of wild-type betta. They breed easily, too. You rarely see these fish for sale. I purchased my first group of 3 for $75 back in 2010. Nowadays, they are approx. $90 per pair.
