CRigs Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 This Avast you build has been a work horse on my 150 gallon tank for a little over 3 years, with absolutely no problems. This is a recirculating skimmer and both pumps are included (main pump is Sicce psk1000). Skimmer is still running on tank if you would like to take a look. I also have an Avast Swabbie (link to website below) for the skimmer as well but it has recently stopped working, so I am happy to give it to the buyerwith purchase of skimmer. It could be an easy fix, and I believe Avast Marine sells replacement products on their website. I am also listing for sale with the skimmer the Avast skimmate locker (link to website below). It is the large model and hold 1.5 gallons of skimmate, prolonging maintenance intervals between emptying skimmer cup. Apex digital output and pressure switch included with skimmate locker.
