bgautrea
Hi everyone. Curious if anyone's run into LEDs going out in a Kessil A350w. I have some blue LEDs that are not working in an old A350w. Kessil wont service it because it is EoL but they will happily sell me a new A360w with a discount. I'd rather not buy a new one if I don't have to. Anyone run into something like this - and somehow fixed it? Thanks! --bg
Timfish
I've run into it with other brands but not Kessil. The LEDs are surface mount so it take special tools and some experience to replace them. If the whites are working you could just supplement with a tuna blue.
bgautrea
Thanks Tim. I saw they were surface mounted and I'm with you that it's going to take someone special to fix it. And since it's more than one led I assume it's somewhere else on the board, or in addition to the LEDs. :-| Adding a second (well third in my case) would be a good idea for getting back the right color. Thanks for the input. --Brian
