Mars Aqua 165w fixture ... wondering if this might be a little too much down close to the water and I dont want it too high above. Also, wonder if it would cover the 24 inches width well at lower heights. OR...A pair of any of these three12 blue, 6 white 12 white, 6 blue 54W-1UV-12Blue-6White (feels like too much blue?) Or maybe this seems interesting...maybe seems somewhere in between?MIght be a little wide? or Might be a little narrow ...or something else I havent considered? Bluemoon Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I've had great success with the mars aquas 165w. Mine was over a 34g solana and I had no coverage issues at 10in above the tank. You may have a wee bit of fading/shadowing along the sides. I'd recommend it though, it's a solid light, with a great spectrum.
