madsalt
So in getting ready to move over to my 175 I need to put sand in it. My question is should I use the sand in my current 75 or start with all new sand. My 75 has only been running since April so the sand isn't terribly old. I have been vacuuming the sand regularly and my clowns love to move it around so its cleaned.

I'm about to kill my sand and start it fresh again, but I didn't have much time to do otherwise when the tank seam busted. You have the luxury of time! Timfish
Either way is fine. I reuse old sand all the time.
Sissy36
I reused my live sand and I think it helped my tank cycle faster. from me
