Wade
I originally thought it was an elephant nose, but now I'm not so sure.
Timfish
Better pictures would help but it looks to me the color of the coral itself has shifted to brown. This probably is a lighting issue but could be another issue. How long have you had it? Is the band of pinkish/orangish coloration on the bottom edge in the first picture new growth? Wade
I've had this one for maybe 4 years. It's been the same color since I bought it, kind of a redish brown. The lighter colored band on the bottom is where it's grown out from under an overhang and and more into the light. It's in the bottom third of the tank. It's been a very slow grower, but has grown the most over the past year. Here's a quick video of the tank just as the lights switched to moon. My concern is the flesh loss on the chalice (located just above it) over the past two months. I'll take a picture of just that tomorrow and post it. I'm wondering if this coral has sweepers that are stinging it. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dpipwzqmvngpqfl/AAALdqLTAEZkS11ZoanUEqG0a?dl=
+Woods
Looks like some type of chalice to me, and it may not get enough light... The bone structure under the tissue with the eyes in the tissue definitely resembles a chalice...
Reburn
It's a chalice, I have one just like it. Same color and all. I'm not sure of the name. I'm working on giving it more light.
