Wade
@Sascha D. : So four months after adding the 7 chromis and all are alive and well. I'm looking at adding a pair of clowns and maybe a couple of flasher or fairy wrasses or anthias. He's got a very healthy population of amphipods that need eating:) He's also wanting an anemone for his clowns. Will an anemone host a pair of clowns or will it host only one? Mirage
Thanks for the update, I have enjoyed reading. As for your question, an anemone will host a pair of clowns, as long as it is large enough for them both.
Neon Reefer
it'll host the dominant female in center and less dominant male on the fringes Maybe a Mandarin or small wrasse like a neon for copepods and baby amphipods, to eat larger amphipods it may take a larger wrasse
Wade
he's got the larger amphipods. I'm thinking the fairy wrasses or a melanurus should be able to eat those since they get a bit bigger than say a six line.
Neon Reefer
Melanarus wrasse 6-line yellow candy hogfish are all good predators if you underfeed them they will hunt pods to extinction. Melanarus is my favorite followed by candy hogfish not a big fan of the 6- line wrasse
