Victim of our own success

So I'm sitting here browsing ARC when Meg goes "Ho-lee-sh@$!" Apparently our strawberry shortcake grew too big to support itself and it's main branch snapped.

Look closely when the pump starts pushing hard...

I wish I trusted my tank enough for that price of a coral. I have had it for 3 1/2 years, but unfortunately haven't taken care of it. I've been really on top of it the last month or two. It's looking great compared to before. I put some blue digi and a setosa frag in it a couple of weeks ago. So far they are great. I don't trust it enough to spend $80 on a coral yet. Lol.

That's how our plan has gone. We started off with cheaper corals until we had enough confidence to get some pricey ones. Unfortunately that doesn't mean we haven't lost some expensive ones. I've come to the conclusion that sometimes it doesn't matter what you do right, some corals just aren't happy and don't want to be in your tank no matter what.

That being said, we have lots of less expensive SPS if you're looking to try an Acro or other SPS.

Well, are you wanting acros specifically or just easy SPS in general? We've got a few acros that are really fast growing and seem to be reasonably hardy. We have lots of hardy non-acro SPS such as Pocillopora, a few Stylos, and lots of Montiporas.
