mFrame Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 You can tell the female (smaller) is still young and not quite sure what's going on yet but the male is definitely coaching her. The two have been paired of for months now hunting together but recently I've noticed them ignoring the hunt and swimming free toward the surface. I understand that the mandarin mating dance is a lot of spiraling each other as they approach the surface. More as the courtship progresses.
