tennisjad3
I have one massive rock with about 20-30 green mushrooms on it. 1 has guts exploding everywhere and a few others are starting to look like this is beginning to happen. All my other coras (including other mushrooms) are fine. How do I fix this? I've had them for months with no problem as well
Woods
Pic? That will help us determine if it is just pooping or if something really is wrong...

Inland Reef
Pics would help, but I wouldn't expect to get a concerete diagnosis. Mushrooms are known to "puke" for several reasons, not all of which are terrible. In my experience, they have usually started puking when disturbed. Whether that is me bumping them while digging around in the tank, a rock falls on them, sometimes even a large hermit or starfish has disturbed them. Also seen it if the individual or group of them have eaten way too much. I used to feed my Anem larger pieces of food. Sometimes a chunk would fall on a fuzzy shroom and it would try to ingest it. Sometime later it would puke up it's stringy guts and expel whatever food hadn't broke down. Mushrooms can puke if the water parameters are off or there is a quick change. Especially temp changes. "Puking" usually looks like a ball of string is hanging out the mouth. They usually reel it back in 30m to an hour or so later. If everything else in the tank is looking good and happy, I would just observe, but not worry too much. My humble observations.
