Floating Island In progress ! Also in the progress of replicating this blue LED cave ! This week I will have my lights hanged ! What you guys think I'm shooting for tank of the month .. LarryD Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I want to try that shelf on a 30 or 40 cube and have it be the whole stucture (with possibly a few uprights up front for safety) because that has the benefit of still giving you quite a bit of room for coral while still having a big sand bed. Yes the floating Island is still holding up, But I re-did the whole thing with PVC support . So the bas is PVC into the overflow and I just cover the PVC with rocks and put the flat rocks back on top. you cant see the PVC at all. this way I know for sure this floating island is not going to fall ! because it supported by PVC with I PVC into the overflow.
