Stayed in a beach bungalow with private beach access in Bora Bora, have an over water bungalow in Moorea right now. I'll attach a photo of the current view from the deck I'm typing this from as well as some photos I took from the reef right off the deck I took earlier.65127744ca130c132eef93bc4a27445c.jpgee58db62af56ebdbad75062fd1b8c98e.jpg

Unfortunately I tried a red filter on my dive today since we were going down to 60 feet. All the videos and pictures came out blood red [emoji22] and the only regular photos I was able to capture were from after the dive when I was snorkeling next to the boat. Luckily there was a rock of Heteractis magnifica anemones to take center stage!

There are palettes of it on the beach here.

Here's a picture if some mushrooms I found. It took me a second to recognize what they were since there are millions of them on the corks rubble and they are cleverly disguised as brown gunk [emoji38] but it was still cool to see them in the wild. I also found some wild zoas, but they were black and growing in a rock crevice. GoPros do not have the correct lenses for micro shots, so that photo came out horribly. 77cc2b13a1f803583c3dfa3898455b81.jpg

That was very philosophical Sascha! The people who do look are so fascinated by the colorful damselfish, wrasses, and tangs, but no one noticed the Tridacnid maxima clams that are nestled in the rocks, or the colorful Christmas tree worms, or the pipefish. It's pretty awesome to have an eye for these things and then point them out to people and explain what they are. For once in my life I feel smart! ?
