+Mlaw
I'm planning on hooking my ro/di unit that is tied into the house line directly into my sunp. I was planning on using a tunze osomolitor with a solenoid and then having another solenoid in line above it hooked in to the apex with a sensor to detect overflows and shut off the flow to the tunze of the solenoid from the tunze locks open some how. Obviously there are dangers here but anyone have any thoughts? Especially on what solenoid to use?
Timfish
I've done it and it works very well as long as all the valves shut off as designed, having redundancy like you're planning should let you sleep at night.
FarmerTy
I say if you have room under that Megatank, to get a container to hold the topoff water instead of dumping directly from the RO/DI. The reason for that is the dirtiest water your RO/DI makes is in the first initial burst. If you're just having it topoff directly, then you're using that initial dirtier burst everytime to topoff your tank. If you allow it to fill up a container, then the initial dirtier burst will be followed with much purer water afterwards.
+Mlaw
No room under the tank unfortunately.
