Hamp
I need some help drilling a tank. Two holes for overflow and two for return. Anyone have a diamond bit and know how to use it?
nvrEnuf
Yes; no. I have two diamond blades I purchased from BRS. I tried drilling a throw away 10g tank and busted two sides. Either the glass was tempered (98% sure it wasn't) or I did something wrong - Probably more likely. I have been looking for some more throw away glass for more practie, but haven't come across any as of yet. You're welcome to come by and use them, I beleive one is 1" and the other 1 1/4". I am thinking a drill press attachment may be a safe addition to the set-up, but again, have been waiting to come across some glass to purchase... I'm pretty far south in Olympic Heights. Hamp
I can make it down that way. I have a couple tanks we can practice on. I have drilled a couple with friends showing me how, so we can probably figure it out.
jestep
It's pretty easy, spray bottle with water and a little bit of dish soap and just take is slow.
