MasonHoff Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 When I go to turn on my PC actinics they blink on temporally and and go off again. So on for a blink then a few seconds off. And it cycles like that. They were a do it yourself upgrade from the previous owner. And worked for about three years. Please help. my corals are not likening not having the actinics to supplement my MH. Call or text to 512-587-5690. I can pay you and let you take my hood. Robb in Austin Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 My guess is the ballast. When one went on my T5 fixture it did the same thing; blinked then nothing. The first thing to try is new bulbs though. Replacing a ballast is pretty easy. Just got to get the same type, cut one wire at a time and butt splice them together.
