Jimbo662
I'm getting ready to finalize my plumbing and do a water test. I normally use teflon tape when connecting the pvc adapter to the bottom of the bulkheads. I've also been told to use silicon. Has anyone ever done this with silicon? Timfish
I always use silicone, got rolls of teflon tape around but my caulk gun with silicone always seems to be closer.
Jimbo662
do you just put a bead around the the beginning of the threads?
esacjack
Put a small bead at the beginning and middle of the threads. This helps get silicone spread out further into the threading, without making a mess. Too much, and it'll end up in places you dont want it
