wesreyn
This is a 20 long from the petco dollar a gallon sale. I de-rimmed it and built the chambers in the side. I painted the bottom, back, side and side-front where the chambers are with black krylon fusion. I am using a Hydor Theo 100 watt heater and a maxi jet 1800 utility pump as the return. I will eventually put chaeto in the middle chamber so I put a little rack in there so it doesnt get sucked up by the pump. I also am using egg crate to hold polyester fiber for the filter. I also made a little top to go over the chambers to totally conceal the area. These are some pics of it today and I hope to get water and live rock put in tomorrow. My 30" Current Sundial T5 fixture will be here Wednesday . Edited August 2, 2010 by wesreyn

wesreyn
Thanks everyone. I've been slowly working on it and all I need now is live rock. Does anyone know where I can get 25 lbs of good pest free rock. I would like to get it today if possible
wesreyn
I decided make this for the top to keep anything from jumping out. Should I paint the area over the chambers black or keep it clear to see what is going on in there? What do you think?
Will
window tent it, so that you can still see in somewhat, but it will loot better and will reduce algae
