Hello reefers! I just couldn’t stay away. I set up a new 10g cube last weekend. I plan on *trying* to keep it simple with softies and LPS. I’m excited to be back in the hobby and in the ARC community again. I’ve missed it! Looking forward to the journey with you!

For future fish additions a school of cardinals is really nice. I love the way they school and when one gets left behind you can see the panic as he searches and catches up with the others. It's fun to watch. Wow. That makes me sound a little sinister Also, LOVE the Diablo

My nitrates were steadily climbing and got higher than my liking and the algae was increasing and it just looked dirty. I'm positive the last two are because I also took out my uv filter. My tank has been a bit neglected since Angel left. I'm doing weekly water changes now but lost track for a while there. In addition I have trouble letting everything balance out in time. I'm in the same PTSD boat, among other things. It does help to keep busy. I love cooking too and especially baking. I inherited some awesome old cookbooks from my grandmother and they are very inspiring. And challenging! Lots of details are left out the majority of the time. I thought of pursuing a bakery business but I'm afraid I won't enjoy it if I have to do it full time. Commitment issues too. Kudos to you for setting that goal. Keep me updated. What kind of game do you enjoy hunting?

I have an 11 year old daughter who somehow enrolled herself in 3 science classes this year, you all definitely sound right up our alley. We're star wars, star trek, firefly, red dwarf, and just about any other sci fi nuts as well. Haha! Three science classes! That's awesome. I hope you have a hefty college savings plan. I know this thread is old and all but forgotten but I'm new and I want to play My hobbies are photography, making homemade body scrubs, lotions, ect., and baking. I really need to lay off the baking. Noah has gained 20 pounds since April! I love to bake though so to get it out of my system maybe I'll bring something to the meeting (s) if that's OK. I also love science: Space, ocean (duh), genetics... those are the big ones. Noah and I emerse ourselves in nerd on a daily basis. We love to theorize about time travel, black holes, worm holes, undiscovered life, on and off the planet. I'm also a huge Trekie, TNG.
