  1. I started a new 90G tank with 100lb of Tampa Bay Saltwater liverock from Florida and wanted to share some photos and also see if anyone knew what kind of hitchhiker algae and coral is on it. First of all, the rock is amazing and I would highly recommend starting a tank this way despite the pests. The diversity of life is amazing. 100s of baby brittlestars, some beautiful sponges, tunicates, bivavles, some stony coral, spaghetti worms, etc. The tank was also insta cycled and never had any detectable ammonia or nitrites. I added coral and fish within a week after seeing solid nitrate conversion and they are all flourishing. Tank is just under 3 weeks old now. On the downside, I have some patches of Bryopsis that I'm surgically removing. Does anyone knows what the small red filmentous stuff in pic 1 and 2 is? Or the coral that came in on the LR in pic 3? There are several of them and they are starting to take off now. Thanks!
  2. The skimmer is a Hydor that came with the tank kit. Both circ pumps are Koralia nanos.
  3. Fluval M60 rimless nano and stand. Paid $800. Asking $300, which is less than the cost of the upgraded Kessil light and controller that's included. Includes heater two circulation pumps return pump Kessil Tuna Blue 160 and controller nano skimmer media tower
  4. 3 year old, rimless Planet Aquarium Premium Crystaline 85G tank with a beautiful stand. Tank seen here in use as a fresh water tank with a custom cover. Includes all hardware seen in pictures: sump, return pump, heater, lights. Paid $1800 for tank/stand. Asking $900. I have included a picture of a second tank in my possession that is the exact same model, but without a cover so you can see what it looks like in a reef tank setting.
  5. Must sell my beloved, fully stocked 85G reef tank due to divorce. It is a high-end 3 years old rimless Planet Aquarium Premium Crystaline with a beautiful stand. System is stable and low maintenance. I now run with no skimmer (though I am including one for sale), just a sump with some live rock and calperia and cheato. Algae build-up is minimal with a simple 20% water change once a month. Asking 2500 OBO. Paid almost 2k for the tank alone and have invested over 12K. Not willing to part out. Includes all hardware and plumbing, some beautiful hard and soft coral, and all livestock.
