    Cyano slowly taking over! Hermits are doing there best but there tiny mouths cant keep up... Hurry up payday so I can get some real cleaners!

      As i think subsea already mentioned, one of the key difference between coralline (good purple stuff) and your purple cyano is that the coralline should be firmly stuck / attached to the live roce, while your cyno will likely pull off easily in chunks. Be sure to use a net in conjunction with a siphon (while doing a water change) in order to catch all the nasty stuff that might try to float off, other wise you'll essentially be seeding your tank.
