  1. Well so much for setting up the tank. Found a water leak in our closet that soaked everything on the floor. Sigh. Thankfully it wasn't a tank leak lol. Gotta call the maintenance man, let him gawk at the tanks, then show him the leak. When it rains....

shoulda called the right kind of maintenance man, you know my dehumidifier would have dried that place out in a few hours...goober

  2. Been away from the board for a while. Life happens, and when it rains it pours. I hope to get caught up on what's going on here. I'll have to post the updates to all the tanks, as well as the new one were FINALLY getting up and running today. Yay!

  3. Woohoo! Last day at AT&T before I start my new job on Monday. Yay!

  4. debating on putting sand in my frag tank, and pondering how to do a WC on it with pods swimming everywhere.

*face palm* I see what you mean. The setup is a 7.5 gallon barebottom, with a large colony of zoas, and the rest is rocks with gsp, and a bunch of other things scattered around the tank. I have a modded AC fuge on the back, that is packed with macro and cheato, but a lot of the pods are in the DT all over the frags and walls.

  5. Watching copepods is like finding Waldo.

  6. Everything still available. Will also consider trades for LPS.
  7. How do I cut a leg of a starfish off?

      Robin uses our coral cutters.

  8. Trying to make some room in the cube, so I have a few things up for grabs. Torch Coral: $20 SOLD One large head. Skeleton is about 3 inches long. The base of the head is about 3 inches when inflated, and the tentacles reach about 6-7 inches across, very long. Also, some tentacles have multiple bubble tips on the ends, kinda looking like frogspawn. It's just growing too big and starting to reach my other corals. GSP Plug: $5 A plug covered in GSP. Devil's Hand leather $10 Frag is about 2-3 inches. Already attached to rocks.
  9. Note to self: check filter media more often. Flooded my living room this morning. Sigh.

well most times, when something is already dying hermits will just eat the dead part (thats probably why they are all over them).
