

Got this Friday and got it all hooked up. Finally. It works well. The inline TDS meter will be here Tuesday, it reads B4 and after. My hand held shows 385 going in and 0 coming out.

Wait why would you think 385 is high? 400+ is the general norm. When I lived in central Austin it was 460, here in Round Rock it hovers just over 400. Heck if I could get 135 from the tap I don't think I would even run it through an RO/DI unit.
You might look into replacing the DI canisters on your unit, they are very inefficient. They will quickly settle all the resin to the bottom and your RO water will just shoot right over the beads. At least try to remove them and mount them vertically so that the water is forced through the bottom and exits from the top. Anyone that wishes to argue this fact, look at all the money you spend on quality downdraft media reactors IE: Two little Fishes, they are all built the way a good DI canister is built.

ok, i did as you suggested today. I was actually thinking the same thing, now all the resin is wet.
